Frequently Asked Questions
I have tried learning English in the past and I was frustrated and unsuccessful. What makes you different? How do I know I can be successful?
When learning a new language it can be very frustrating. I help my students to pinpoint the situations in their career or business that would be changed the most by speaking English more clearly. By focusing on one specific goal at a time, you will make progress in a more efficient and effective way. One tool that I created is the Weekly Progress Planner. It helps my students be super focused on their weekly goals, how they practiced, and reflect on success and mistakes to learn from them.

How do I schedule and pay for private lessons?
There is no long-term commitment for private lessons. 30-minute and 60-minute lessons can be scheduled on my calendar and your time will be reserved just for you. When you schedule your lesson, you will pay for it at that time. If you need to reschedule a lesson due to an emergency, there is a simple link in your confirmation email to reschedule for a better time. Sign up for a free trial lesson HERE.
I have studied English for a few years and I know the vocabulary and grammar I need for my business, but English speakers still don't understand what I'm saying.
That is an easy fix. You don't need to learn any more vocabulary or grammar. You only need to make some adjustments to your pronunciation. A tiny change in pronunciation can make a big difference in whether people are hearing "think" or "sink." When you get an objective look at your pronunciation, you might see where you could improve. Check out the Master English Pronunciation Course or schedule a private lesson.
Can I work with you even if I am just beginning to learn English?
Yes! If you can understand what I say in the videos, we can work together. I know that it is really uncomfortable to have someone hear you learn to speak English, but this is a safe space for you to just be yourself. Confidence will come by trying new things and messing up and then doing something different next time.
